Every Van Cleef&Arpels piece should be stored in a jewelry box with lining fabric, dismembered with other jewelry to prevent bumps or scratches. Some materials used by aristocratic families are more susceptible to damage than others and are particularly susceptible to breakage due to impact.

Diamonds are the brightest and hardest gemstones among all minerals, and may or may not scratch other softer materials. Therefore, we advocate that you store diamond inlaid works separately.
